Tubercular appendicitis is the appendicular infection with tubercular bacillus, which develops as an extension of ileocecal infection. Tuberculosis is either primary or secondary. Primary tuberculosis of the appendix is uncommon. Diagnosis is made by histopathological examination of the resected appendix.
